The slow cooker and crock pots have been around for some time, although the new kid on the block quickly gaining popularity is the triple slow cooker. Really makes sense when you think about it, to have the facility for cooking 3 different foods all at the same time. Especially when one item only needs to be cooked for 1 hour and another for 6 hours it makes sense having them in separate pots.
Slow cookers are not very expensive items to buy and they allow you to use cheaper types of meats which turn out very tasty and tender when slow cooked. There are tons of recipes available with recommendations of what cooks well and many recipes that recommend and list these cheaper meats to use.
Probably the biggest benefits from using this method of cooking for many people is the effort and time savings it provides.

Tips on Using a Triple Slow Cooker
When time’s at a premium the slow cooker comes to the rescue by giving you hours back in your daily living routine. Preparing any meat and vegetables you plan to cook the next day for dinner is best done in the evening and will save you precious time in the morning. Pop it in the fridge to keep fresh till morning.
As soon as you get up, take it out of the fridge which will allow it to reach room temperature again, then add it into their intended slow cooker, not forgetting to “SWITCH IT ON”. Nothing worse than coming home to an unexpected uncooked dinner.
Another benefit that I particularly appreciate with using the slow cook method is not having to stand over a cooker especially in the warmer weather. Unlike the stove which creates more heat due to cooking, you’ll find that the slow cooker has added no appreciable amount of heat to the kitchen area.
The taste of stews are especially enhanced by the slow cook process. All the flavors of the meats and vegetables get fully extracted and intermingled to create a succulent evening meal. A meal that’s ready to take out into the garden eating area for that well-earned treat after a long day.
Buying a Triple Slow Cooker
The benefits of slow cooking are many but what should we look for when buying a triple slow cooker.
Tip – Ensure you choose one with the warm setting you won’t regret it. Many have only the high and low setting, having the warm setting will keep the food warm without further cooking being performed.
I don’t know about you but I have not been able to keep a scheduled arrive home time. This can be due to unexpected traffic delays or perhaps I have called in to see a friend or done a bit of shopping on route.
Having the warm setting allows the freedom to carry out any of the above situations and still arrive home to a warm ready to serve meal.
Does The Slow Cooker Use More or Less Electricity?
My quick answer is that it uses much the same amount of electricity as your traditional stove although as you will have guessed there is a, “but”. If you were to use the oven part of your stove to cook the meat then this might well work out cheaper.
That is only the meat, you will more than likely use the top cooking rings to cook potatoes and veg. That then will bring you back up to the same amount of electricity used or even more. And that’s providing your oven is a modern version, is energy efficient and works well.
I have provided a selection of capacities which are, 1.5 quarts, 2.5 quarts and 3.0 quarts. All of these of course can be multiplied by 3 to give you the total amount of slow cooker capacity.

The Rival SCRBC909-BS Trio is a 3 crock pot buffet server made of stainless steel. This is the largest size of triple slow cooker that I could find.
It is made up of 3 crock pots each holding 3 quarts to make a total cooking capacity of 9 quarts. It safe to wash the removable pots in the dishwasher. The pots themselves are stoneware and come complete with glass lids.
Individual heat controls allow you to set the heater controls to high, low and warm for each pot.
Comes complete with 3 spoons used for serving plus 6 feet of electric cord.

Farberware 3 Crock Slow Cooker
The Farberware 3 crock slow cooker is yet another version which has my recommended 3 settings feature. This is a relatively new model available and at the time of writing this review there are only 2 user reviews left for the Farberware 3 crock round 1.5qt. oval slow cooker.
Both the reviews have rated this 1.5qt crock pot 5 stars from 5 and have given the pot excellent reviews. The main benefit being the ability to cook potatoes or soup in one pot, roast beef in another and barbecued chicken in the third pot.
It comprises of 3 off 1.5qt. Crock pots arranged in an oval shape with the central area having 3 combined handy pot lid holders. Get more details.
Farberware 3-Crock 2.5qt.
Another version, is the FarberWare 3-Crock 2.5Qt. triple slow cooker 22866804. This one is a more elongated shape and has 3 crock pots each having a capacity of 2.5 quarts. Again there are the pot lid holders this time arranged at the back of each pot.
There is the ability to cook the ingredients of each pot separately with their individual controls. Even have all the pots cooking the same ingredients if you’re having a large party for dinner.
